Arriving at the house the team found Woody hiding in a ball under the shed. He was matted and afraid. They managed to gently pull him out from his hiding spot, ensuring that he knew he was safe and that they were not a threat. Once out, they found the true nature of this sweet, friendly, and loving dog.

The Power of Love

For the first time in over 365 days, Woody felt love. After being taken to a safe and loving home, Woody was given a shave. This was the only way to get rid of his knots, it was impossible to try and brush them out. He was given a bath, coming out looking like a brand-new dog. Still scared of this new change, terrified little Woody continued to shake. It would take a while for him to warm up and settle down.

A New Leash on Life

Woody had been given a chance for a better life. After being such a wonderful help in his rescue, Lisa Chiarelli offered to foster the little pup. His growth and transformation was a miracle and pure joy to see. Coming out of his shell and re-learning the way of love, Woody had a newfound appreciation for life.
