Welcome Home Party

An animal owner got a surprise welcome-home party when she returned home to find her kitchen filled with farm animals and the entire house destroyed. Ducks were waddling over broken shutters, a pig was munching through a bag of food, and a mini cow was just standing in the middle of her kitchen.

Security Footage Reveals the Truth

To find out how the break-in occurred and subsequent chaos ensued, the homeowner checked the security footage of the home’s front door. And there she had it—the break-in caught on tape! It all started when the front door swung right open.

Furry Burglar Identified

The farm animal leading the break-in was a black-and-white goat. In another video, the owner shows how the goat, named Finnegan, has learned to open doors, earning the nickname, “naughty goat”. He does this by going up on his hind legs and pushing down on the door handle with his front legs.

Goat Marks His Territory

After breaking in, Finnegan the goat further earned the nickname “naughty goat” by peeing and pooping all over the owner’s bed. That’s one way to mark your territory!

Plants Destroyed

Two more goats entered the home, following the first. Together they ate all of the owner’s plants, including the hanging plants. All her pots were broken!

Chickens Check It Out

Of course, the chickens had to check it out too. Two chickens came inside first to scope it out. It appears like one of the chickens went back outside to go get the rest of the gang who all came to join the party!

Then the Party Really Started

The party really started when the first llama entered the home. This black-and-white llama is named Tina, and she brought a friend. Following Tina’s lead, the second llama came into the house, this one all black and named Biscuit. But that’s not all!

Mini Cow Earns New Nickname

Right on the llama’s heels was a miniature cow storming in to join the party. Called Twister, the mini cow lived up to its name with the chaos that ensued and earned the nickname Destruction.

One Good Alpaca

There was only one good farm animal that followed the rules. This was the alpaca, named Fiona. Peaking her head inside, she realized that this wasn’t a party she wanted to be a part of and walked away, earning some brownie points!

More Join the Party

While their break-in wasn’t shown on the security footage, more animals joined the party. This is seen in the initial footage of the owner getting home where a pig, a flock of ducks, and even an emu entered the home while the owner was away.

First Sign Something Was Wrong

When pulling up to her house, the owner first knew something was wrong when she spotted an emu, named Zipper, in her front window. Her first concern was that the emu might slip on the wooden floors. Once seeing the chaos inside, she started filming.

Party Lasted 4 Hours

According to the owner, the party lasted 4 hours, leaving the place trashed. With the house destroyed, plants eaten, pots and ornaments broken, and poop everywhere, it took the owner a full week to clean up the entire mess.

Not the First Time

This wouldn’t be the first the owner has caught her animals breaking in. On her social media, @hen_stefani, she regularly posts about finding her animals in her home, thankfully without leaving such a mess. This rager, however, will go down in the history books.

Who Is the Owner?

The owner of all these animal party-goers is Ashley Erdos, who goes by Hen Stefani on social media. She is a self-proclaimed “Henfluencer” and was inspired by her love of chickens to go vegan and start her own vegan animal sanctuary.

Naughty Goats

It isn’t a surprise it was one of the goats that led the break-in, as goats are infamous for their more mischievous and stubborn personalities. However, these troublemakers don’t intend to be naughty—they are simply very curious and explorative with a high level of intelligence.

Mini Cow’s Supposed Gentle Disposition

Despite Twister, the mini cow’s, destructive tendencies, miniature cows are known for their gentle dispositions. This sweet temperament means that they are easy to care for and train, making them great pets, even for children.

Llama vs Alpaca

Watching the video, you may have struggled to tell the difference between the llama and alpaca. Alpacas tend to be smaller than llamas and a bit more shy and gentle compared to llamas’ more confident and brave personalities, as exhibited in this viral video.

Conclusion

In the end, at least the animal break-in party made for some entertaining footage, despite the massive mess the owner was left with. I’m sure the owner will never leave their door unlocked again.
