Upon property inspection, Lucy was found abandoned and scared, waiting for her owners to return. The owners had moved two weeks ago, leaving this adorable pup behind. Covered in fleas and ticks, Lucy was desperate to be saved. She was struggling to survive all alone, unfed, and without water.
Silently Suffering In Freezing Conditions
On December 20th, 2024, Luck’s Rescue posted a video on the heartbreaking discovery of an abandoned dog. Lucy the dog was left behind by her owners two weeks before when they moved out of the house. All alone in freezing temperatures, Lucy was fighting to survive, waiting for someone to come to her rescue. She was found by a property inspector who notified Lucks Rescues. Abandoned, starving, and alone, Lucy finally had a chance at a better life.
Learning Of A New Love
Without hesitation, Audray Luck, Founder of Luck Rescues, rushed to the scene of the crime. Yes, abandoning such amazing animals is a brutal crime. Audray took time to create a trusting relationship with Lucy, this didn’t take long. Lucy was desperate for love and a caring forever family. With so much neglect she was more than ready to jump into the car with Audray. Lucy was so warm and welcoming, with a pure soul and an adorable personality.
From Terrified To Terrific
Upon closer inspection Luck could see the terrible state that Lucky was in. Covered in fleas, ticks, and tangles Lucy needed a parlour visit. She was taken to the vet for a checkup, and thankfully she was all good, and then she was taken over to the parlor to make her pretty. Lucy is such a gorgeous and loving dog, she finally got the love that she deserves.
Surviving and Thriving
We can thankfully say that this heartbreaking story has a happy ending. The abandonment of Lucy pulls on your heartstrings. I don’t understand how people can abandon and mistreat any animals. A huge thanks goes out to Luck’s Rescues for all of their rescue efforts. Lucy is now in a happy home, full of love, and overflowing joy.
