Heartbroken Dog Hides In The Shadows Waiting For His Forever Family

Not all dogs manage to keep their spirits up when in shelters, and of course, they wouldn’t be expected to. Chloe, is one of these dogs, any more time in the shelter, and would have mentally collapsed. Always hiding in the corner with a heartbreaking look in her eyes, Chloe was desperate for her savior.

A Life In The Shadows

Chloe lived in the shadows of the shelter. This precious girl always hiding in the corner desperately wanted someone to teach her about love. She waited patiently for the right person to arrive, scared and alone. Chloe was terrified of anything new, people, places, or even a change of venues. 

A Glimpse Of Hope

Darvish and his partner went to the shelter to foster Chloe. She was terrified of leaving the shelter, continuously running back inside. It took a while to coax her out, lots of bribery and loving words. Chloe was scared still, unaware of what was going on. She eventually managed to get in the car, sitting in the back with Shira. Chloe needed a lot of encouragement, slowly forming a bond with Shira during the hour-long ride home. 

Welcome Home

After an hour of coaxing Chloe out of the car, they managed to get her into the house. Chloe was heartbreakingly scared, she started roaming the house and found her corner. Shira placed a bed in that corner for her, next to her bed, and Chloe stayed there for the next 5 days. On day 5 she started to warm up to them, bonding strongly with Darvish. Chloe started showing her true colors, and seeing her adapt was such a heartwarming thing to see.

An Unbreakable Bond

The bond between Darvish and Chloe continued to grow. They became inseparable. Chloe never left his side, always following him around and running to the door with excitement, always knowing it was him. The bond between these 2 was such a precious transformation that they knew they could never let Chloe go. She finally found her forever home.
