All the dinosaurs used in the movie are not fictional. They once existed on the face of the earth. Paleontologists and scientists have collected their bones and have some proof of their existence through thorough research and analysis.

#1 Allosaurus
Allosaurus is one of the most famous dinosaurs seen in all Jurassic World sequels. It is similar to a “large lizard,” as the meaning of its name depicts.
It has a vast skull mounted on a small, lengthened neck and small forelimbs with a long tail. The total length of an Allosaurus is up to thirty feet long. They have two horns above their eye, making their appearance unique from other dinosaurs.
Studies have shown that they existed on the earth around 145 to 155 million years ago.
#2 Ankylosaurus
Ankylosaurus is among the famous dinosaurs revealed in North America’s western end. This dinosaur’s name depicts “a fused lizard having a great belly.”
It has a large, heavy body with a clubbed tail which it uses to defend itself from predators. A narrow beak is mounted in front of the skull. Since these species are considered herbivores, this long beak helps them consume leaves off trees.
These twenty feet long dinosaurs existed on the earth around 66 to 68 million years ago.
#3 Apatosaurus
They were discovered in the region of North America and walked on their four legs and fed on plants.
These herbivores are one of the largest animals on earth and are known for their long neck and tails, which makes them seventy-five feet long. They were heavily weighted species that weighed around forty-five tons.
Apatosaurus existed on the earth’s surface around 151 to 152 million years ago.
#4 Atrociraptor
The fragments of this dinosaur were only discovered in the region of Canada. They walked on two legs and were considered a raptor.
These were medium-sized dinosaurs having thick heads with lean bodies. The weight of their body was around thirty-five pounds. The meaning of their names implies them to be “savage robbers.”
They were known to exist on the earth around 68 million years ago.
#5 Baryonyx
This dinosaur was first located in the region of Surrey in England. This species fed on fish and was most likely a semi-aquatic animal.
The name Baryonyx means “Heavy claw.” It was a medium-sized animal with a narrow mouth with a serrated set of ninety-sized, small-shaped teeth.
They walked on two legs weighing 1.2 to 1.7 tons. The length of this species was measured to be 25 to 35 feet long.
Baryonyx existed on the earth 125 to 130 million years ago.
#6 Brachiosaurus
The fragments of Brachiosaurus were first found in the Colorado River and regions of North America. It belongs to the species of Sauropod, which is known by many. Their name means arm lizard.
It is a large animal with a giraffe-like figure with a long neck and tail. It is a four-legged animal having a minute brain. Its body length measures up to sixty-nine feet, weighing up to 58 tons.
Studies have shown that it existed on the earth about 150-154 million years ago.
#7 Carnotaurus
The fragment of this dinosaur was first located in the area of South America in the La Colonia Formation.
They are two-legged dinosaurs who are carnivores in nature. The meaning of its name is “meat-eating bull,” which is due to the bold horns present right above its eyes. They are weighted around 1.3 tons and are measured to be up to twenty-six feet long.
This species of dinosaurs were known to be alive on the earth around 69-71 million years ago.
#8 Compsognathus
The fragments of its remains were first discovered in Europe, while complete instances were found in France and Germany.
They are small-sized dinosaurs that can grow up to be the size of a chicken. They are two-legged dinosaurs with reduced forelimbs having long tails. These predatory species can weigh up to twelve pounds having a length of two to three feet.
These minute dinosaurs were known to be alive about 150 million years ago.
#9 Dilophosaurus
It was the giant dinosaur that was found in the region of North America. The remains of this dinosaur were first located in the areas of Arizona.
The meaning of the name is “two-crested lizard,” as it has two bony crests from its mouth, which go up to the back of its eyes. This medium-sized had reduced forelimbs and fed on meat as their primary food source. It has a body length of twenty-three feet and weighs almost 900 pounds.
It is known to be last alive about 193 million years ago.
#10 Dimetrodon
This animal was considered a dinosaur but most likely isn’t, as it shows characteristics similar to the descendants of mammals – a non-mammalian synapsid.
It has a large spine sail on its back which was used to regulate temperature. They grew up to 6 to 15 feet long, weighing 60 to 550 pounds. Also, it is believed that they died forty million years before the first dinosaur ever existed on the earth.
Therefore they are known to be last alive around 295 million years ago.
#11 Dimorphodon
Dimorphdon belongs to the pterosaur species, a group of reptiles that can fly. They were first found in England, and the meaning of their name is “two-form tooth.”
It is a medium-sized dinosaur that can reach a length of 3.3 feet and has wings up to 4 feet long. They are very light in weight with large bodies and have large eyes and a skull that can open wide at several angles.
This species was known to be last alive on earth about 190 to 195 million years ago.
#12 Dreadnoughtus
This dinosaur was famous for being the largest animal to exist on earth. The meaning of their name is” fear nothing,” as it is humongous concerning its size.
It was a large-sized herbivore that belonged to the family of Sauropods. It measured up to the length of eighty-five feet in size, which is almost as tall as two stories. The weight of this dinosaur was more than fifty tons.
Dreadnoughtus was the last known on earth around 70 to 76 million years ago.
#13 Gallimimus
The fragments of this dinosaur were first discovered in Mongolia. It belongs to the species of Ornithomimus, which were two-legged theropods most likely covered in feathers.
Gallimimus is a medium-sized carnivore whose name depicts the meaning “chicken mimic” as it had a neck similar to that of a chicken with a small and light head. It had large eyes located on the side of the face. A mature adult was twenty feet long, weighing around 970 pounds.
It is believed they existed on the earth 70 million years ago.
#14 Giganotosaurus
Giganotosaurus was a large-sized dinosaur, as the name depicts “Giant southern lizard.” The fossils of this dinosaur were found in the region of Patagonia.
It is a bipedal theropod which is among the largest carnivores that exist on earth. It had a giant head attached to a small neck with a serrated set of teeth which aided these predators in slicing the meat of their prey.
Its last existence was around 99 million years ago.
#15 Lystrosaurus
Lystrosaurus was a small, medium-sized dinosaur that belonged to the species of Theraspid, which were mammals that looked like reptiles. Its name also depicts the meaning of “Shovel Lizard.”
The species is one of the most common dinosaurs from the terrestrial period. It can grow to three feet in length, ranging between the size of a dog and a pig. It was a heavily built herbivore with two massive teeth in its upper jaw. A beautiful Jurassic World Dominion Dinosaurs.
It was last alive on earth around 250-255 million years ago.
#16 Microceratus
The meaning of the name depicts this dinosaur to be “small horned.” The fragments of this dinosaur were first discovered in Mongolia.
Microceratus was a small-sized herbivore that had horns. It had a large head that had an upward frill around it. It could grow up to two feet long only.
It was last known to live on the face of the earth around ninety million years ago.
#17 Moros
Moros fossils of this dinosaur were first discovered in the region of North America. It was one of the first tyrannosaurus species found in that area.
The name of this dinosaur depicts the meaning of “impending doom.” It was a large-sized dinosaur that could grow to eight feet long, weighing 172 pounds.
This dinosaur was last alive around ninety-six million years ago.
#18 Mosasaurus
The fossils of this dinosaur were first located in the Meuse River. Thus, the meaning of its name is “lizard of the Meuse River.”
Mosasaurus was a large-sized aquatic dinosaur. It comprised a body similar to that of a snake, and its limbs were shaped like pedals. It was the giant dinosaur among its ancestral species having a length of forty-six feet and a weight of more than thirteen tons.
It last existed on earth about 66 to 82 million years ago.
#19 Nasutoceratops
The fragments of this dinosaur were first located in the region of Southern Utah In the United States. Its name means” Large nose” or “Horned nose.”
Nasutoceratops was a large-sized animal that walked on land with four legs. This herbivore had a large beak and two horns above its head. Its length was about fifteen feet long, weighing around 1.5 tons.
It was last alive around seventy-five years ago. A great one of Jurassic World Dominion Dinosaurs.
#20 Parasaurolophus
The fragments of this dinosaur were first discovered in the areas of Alberta in Canada. The meaning of its name is “near crested lizard.”
This herbivore was a large-sized dinosaur who was bipedal. It grew to around thirty-six feet long, and the head and crest were five feet long. Its weight ranged between two to four tons.
It was alive on the face of the earth around seventy-nine million years ago.
#21 Pteranodon
This animal was not listed as a dinosaur but was a blend of 1200 species. The name depicts the meaning of “toothless” and “wing.”
Pteranodon was an enormous flying reptile that existed on the earth, having a wingspan of eighteen feet or more. It had a pelican-like jaw having no teeth in it.
It was last known to be alive around eight-six million years ago.
#22 Pyroraptor
The fragments of this dinosaur were first located in France. The name means “Fire thief.”
Pyroraptor was a small-sized predator with a physique similar to a bird whose size was identical to that of a turkey. It belonged to the species of raptors as they had short limbs and a long tail.
It last existed on the earth around seventy million years ago.
#23 Quetzalcoatlus
The fossil remains were first located in Big Bend National park in Texas. It is named after an Aztec god in the Aztec language.
Quetzalcoatlus was among the giant flying birds. Although it was big, having a wingspan of around fifty feet and a body length of up to ten feet, it was a light bird weight around five hundred pounds.
It was last alive around 68 million years ago.
#24 Sinoceratops
Sinoceratops was first located in the region of Zhucheng, which is why its name means “Chinese horned face from Zhucheng.”
This was a medium-sized horned quadruped herbivore. It grew up to size twenty feet long, weighing two tons.

#25 Stegosaurus
The fragments of this herbivore were first located in Colorado in the region of Morrison. It is a famous dinosaur that means “roof lizard.”
Stegosaurus was a heavily built quadrupedal that had a round back with plates on top of it. It had short forelegs and long hind legs. It was around thirty feet long and weighed about seven tons.
It last existed on the surface around 145-155 million years ago.
#26 Stygimoloch
The fossils were first discovered in North America. The name suggests the meaning of “thick-headed lizard.”
This herbivore is widespread due to its heavy skeletal head and has also been seen in some movies. It was almost fifteen feet long having weight a thousand pounds.
#27 Therizinosaurus
The fragments were first located in the area of the Gobi Desert situated in Mongolia. Its name means “Scythe Lizard.”
Therizinosaurus is one of the primary opponents used in the Jurassic World Dominion dinosaur movie, having a length of around thirty-three feet and a weight of more than five tons.
It was last alive seventy million years ago.
#28 Triceratops
Triceratops was first found in Colorado in the areas of Denver. The name of this dinosaur means” Three horned faces.”
This was a large-sized herbivore that walked on four legs having three horns on its parrot-like face. It was sized up to thirty feet long and weighed about ten tons.
It was last alive about 66-68 million years ago.
#29 Tyrannosaurus
The fossil remains were first cited in Colorado. It is one of the most famous dinosaurs that ever lived on the face of the earth. Therefore, its name means “king of the tyrant lizards.”
Tyrannosaurus is a large carnivore, almost forty feet tall, and weighs about fourteen tons. This bipedal dinosaur was among the last creatures of its time to be alive during the extinction phase.
It was the last present on the earth around 66-68 million years ago.
#30 Velociraptor
The fragments of this dinosaur were first found in Mongolia in the region of the Gobi Desert. The meaning of its name is “Swift seizer.”
Velociraptor was a small-sized bipedal predator who was light in weight, therefore, fast in speed. It was 6 feet long, weighing only a hundred pounds, similar to the size of a turkey.
It was last known to be alive around 71-75 million years ago.
