Both were saved from horrific conditions—Pashuk was found with chains embedded in his flesh, while Gjina had spent years confined in a tiny cage. Now, they roll down hills together, enjoying the companionship they were once denied.

Many rescued animals arrive at sanctuaries after suffering years of isolation or abuse. Organizations like Four Paws create environments where animals can heal and rediscover the joy of companionship. These social connections are vital for their mental and emotional well-being.
