Sometimes owners decide they cannot handle or care for a dog after an adoption. Some dogs get returned to the shelter many times. This time, the heartbreaking returns helped the shelter learn more about Inga.
5 Years In The Shelter With Multiple Quick Returns
Inga was brought into the shelter in 2015 as a stray. She was adopted multiple times but each time was soon returned. She was not able to concentrate and constantly barked at the sight of any other dog. She had the habit of grabbing people’s clothing and jumping up at them. With each return, the shelter crew learned a bit more about Inga.
Learning And Growing
The shelter crew realized that some of these adoptions may have been done too soon. They kept her back for a while, spending time with her and getting to know her and who she truly was. They soon found out that Inga was a playful dog who loved a challenge. She loved her walks and was great at learning new tricks. Their time with her was such a blessing for them both, watching Inga grow and become more comfortable.
A Whole New Doggo
The team loved spending time with Inga. She was such a playful and loving dog. Inga learned so many new tricks, loving every moment of it. Her true nature began to show and everyone found her a delight to be around. The shelter crew was so proud of her phenomenal transformation.
From Wild To Wonderful
Inga’s transformation was a miracle. She went from being uncontrollable to a loving and genuine best friend. Still waiting to be adopted, the shelter is working hard to show people the true nature of Inga, the pure love that she shares. Inga’s transformation is an inspiring story. She gives us hope for all dogs that are called ‘uncontrollable’, sometimes all that they need is a bit of love and patience.
