This heartbroken pit bull lost hope as he spent years watching the other dogs getting adopted. For over 700 days he waited but no one would take him because of his breed. Within Arkansas, it has been banned to own a pittie because of the stereotypes linked to their ‘violent nature’. This sweet boy just wants a loving family.
A Broken Heart And Lonely Life
This pittie, named Hashbrown, has spent the majority of his life in the kennels. Located in Sherwood, Arkansas, he has spent over 700 days watching the dogs around him get adopted as he was overlooked. Hashbrown is a sweet and playful boy, the only reason for the lack of interest in him was that he is a pit bull mix. In Arkansas, pit bulls have been banned because they are ‘aggressive’ and ‘dangerous’. This generalization has resulted in the abandonment and euthanizing of many pitties. Meanwhile, Hasbrown continues to wait patiently.
Innocently Waiting
Throughout Arkansas and the surrounding cities, the possibility of a pit bull adoption is scarce due to the ban. Hashbrown is a sweet and loving puppy, he has no aggression in him and just wants to have a friend. Playing around with the shelter team, everyone is wishing for him to find a loving home. He doesn’t deserve to spend his life in the kennels.
Playtime Is All The Time
Hashbrown is a well-mannered and peaceful dog. He loves to play and run around outside with anyone who will join him. He may seem shy but Hashbrown is a social and friendly dog, getting along with everyone and every dog that he meets. With the help of some wonderful volunteers, he gets taken out daily to go on adventures and socialize. Everyone who meets Hashbrown loves him, even the kids love to play. Their biggest wish is for him to find the best forever home.
Please Make The Wish Come True
Whilst Hasbrown, or Hashy, continues to wait for his forever home he is surrounded by love. With the help of the shelter team and volunteers, Hashbrown has remained in high spirits and full of love. This playful and warmhearted dog yearns for a forever home, with a family who will make him their number 1. The fact that he is a pit bull mix shouldn’t cover his wonderful personality. We sincerely hope that Hashbrown gets the best life possible.
