All cat lovers would have heard of the cat distribution theory, and this video proves it is real! Well, according to me anyway. From never owning a pet to falling in love with a stray kitten, this story of Nala and Caleb will warm your heart.
What Is The Cat Distribution Theory?
Basically, the cat distribution theory states that people don’t pick out their cats, cats pick out their people. Which is highly believable, especially since many claim their pet cat just wandered into their homes as if they owned it. Or, as in Caleb’s case, found their pet kitten randomly while going about their day.
The Chosen One
Caleb, who has never had a pet before, came across Nala and immediately felt a connection to her. He took the little kitten home with him, fed her, and was smitten soon after. Nala felt safe in her new home, and quickly became attached to Caleb – her chosen person!
A True House Cat
And it seems like she couldn’t have chosen better. Nala, a true house cat, loves a snuggle and goes everywhere with Caleb. She prefers being carried in a harness, or comfortably chilling on Caleb’s shoulder, over exploring around on her own. A true lady of leisure it seems!
A Cat’s Love
It’s no secret that cats are less affectionate pets than dogs, but they do have ways of showing their love for their humans. And Nala is no different, she often kneads, licks, cuddles, or affectionately purrs to show her care. And in the video, we can see that Nala is just as smitten with Caleb as he is with her!
The Power of The Cat Distribution System
The moment Caleb laid eyes on this tiny stray kitten he couldn’t leave her behind – he knew he had to take care of her. And just look at them now! It has to be the power of the cat distribution system that brought these two together because they seemed to be made for each other.
Caleb and Nala
The bond shared between these two is not only adorable but entertaining too! Caleb loves singing and rapping to her, and her personality shines through her playfulness. They even had a photoshoot, the success of which can be seen in the video below. I must say, this might be the coolest cat photoshoot I’ve ever seen.
What Do You Think?
From rescue to house cat, Nala and Caleb’s story changed from the moment they set eyes on each other. And we love the idea that this confirms the cat distribution theory, don’t you? Tell us how you and your cat became a family in the comments below – we would love to know! You can watch the full video here.
