Coming across a litter of abandoned puppies struggling to survive is undeniably heart-wrenching. But the sight of helpless puppies pleading for another chance at life can even soften the sternest hearts.
Such was the scene was witnessed by a family all when they came across four abandoned puppies, whom were seeking refuge in their garden.
Although the family could not give these pups a permanent home, their immediate call for assistance was a lifeline extended to save the lives of these innocent creatures.
The Rescue
Responding immediately to the distressed call, the dedicated team from Howl Of A Dog arrived at the scene to assess the situation.
After investigating the circumstances that led to the puppies situation, they soon discovered that the harsh weather conditions (cold and rainy) had forced the puppies to find shelter. Through a hole in the fence, they had found their way into the safety of the family’s garden.
Trembling with fear at the sight of the rescuers, the puppies hid under the doghouse, returning whenever approached.
The experienced rescuers continued even though the scared pups did not make it an easy task. Gradually, they earned the trust of the frightened puppies. Before long, the once apprehensive pups were eagerly leaping into the arms of their new saviors.
A New Beginning
Stuck with the “M” due to their muddy appearance at the time of rescue, the puppes were soon named Mindy, Milly, Molly, and Mara.
Their first stop was to a veterinary clinic. This is where they were cleaned of the all the mud and then they received a comprehensive health check after.
Thankfully, the vet’s assessment brought nothing but positive news! Not one of the puppies showed signs of diseases, and they were all in healthy condition.
Soon after, these pups were welcomed into the sanctuary of ‘Howl Of A Dog’, where they would spend their puppyhood days.
In the nurturing environment of the home, the puppies quickly grew comfortable and started to explore their surroundings. They also met other puppy friends! Molly, in particular, couldn’t contain her excitement when meeting a feline friend. It was all uphill from there.
Bottom Line
Overall as each day unfolded, the puppies flourished in their newfound happiness, their innocent curiosity bringing them on many new adventures that would shape their happy futures.
