In the heart of Middle Tennessee, an extraordinary kitten named Audio was born with a rare genetic mutation that gave him four ears. The little kitten was recently rescued in the greater Nashville area along with his three siblings. Luckily they were taken in by True Rescue animal shelter in Mt. Juliet.
The Purrfect Rescue
Audio was found in Mt. Juliet, in a small town parking lot near Nashville. He was stuck, along with his siblings, in a box that was taped shut with no air holes. Luckily a compassionate person set the kittens free and brought them to True Animal Rescue. Soon it was discovered that, unlike his siblings, Audio had 4 ears!
Genetic Charity
Audio’s four ears are the result of a rare genetic mutation. This causes two extra ear flaps to form inside his normal ears, giving him four ears. While this did not grant him super hearing, the extra ears don’t seem to cause him any discomfort either. True Rescue has assured everyone that Audio is healthy, thriving, and has perfectly normal hearing. Even if he pretends he can’t hear you!
The Audio Quality
Audio is destined to live a high-quality upbeat life. At just 8 to 9 weeks old, Audio weighs over two pounds making him a very tiny kitten. Despite his unusual appearance, he is in good health. After examining him, True Rescue’s veterinarians determined that Audio is just as lively and playful as any other kitten his age. According to them, his condition is harmless. Although it may cause unsolicited snuggles from strangers!

Since his rescue, Audio’s special remixed appearance captured the eyes and ears of animal lovers everywhere. This tiny Tennessee kitten has gained immense popularity on the internet. But who doesn’t love seeing a kitty with four times the charm?
