Man Encounters Hundreds of Whales While Rowing, Creating a Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience

Todd Waddington experienced an extraordinary encounter with a massive pod of long-finned pilot whales. As he sailed more than 100 nautical miles off the coast of Newfoundland, Waddington found himself surrounded by thousands of these majestic creatures. The sheer number of whales, estimated to be more than 1,000, was both awe-inspiring and somewhat intimidating.
