Proof that not all heroes wear capes! This family cat saved his human brother from a dog attack that could have been much worse – yikes! Read on to watch the video.
A Normal Afternoon Out
The young boy, Jeremy, was playing with his bicycle in their front yard under his mom’s supervision. But little did they know, what seemed like a usual playtime outing quickly turned into a day they will never forget!
Cat-astrophy Avoided
Little to their knowledge, the neighbor’s dog had gotten out and circled around their car towards the young boy – just like a dog sneaking up on its prey would. The dog was creeping quietly towards the boy when it suddenly grabbed Jeremy by the leg, pulling him from his bike. The dog then continued to drag the boy by the leg, until an unexpected hero arrived.
Not All Heroes Wear Capes
Like a bullet from a gun, the family cat, Tara, sped out of the house to Jeremy’s rescue! She saw that her human brother was in trouble, and gave her everything to rescue him. Tara hurled herself at full speed into the attacking dog, pushing it off Jeremy and startling the attacker. She proceeded to chase the dog away from Jeremy while his mother rushed to his side.
All Stitched Up
Poor Jeremy required a couple of stitches from the bite he endured but he was okay! Still, the whole family was incredibly grateful for their heroic cat who prevented any further injury to their son.

Super Cat To The Rescue
It is amazing how much animals care for their humans, especially displayed in this brave action taken by Tara who saved her human brother from what could have been much more than a few stitches! You go, Tara!
