Trembling Dog Almost Put Down Because of Her Fear Gets Second Chance

They gave her a new name—Imelda—meaning brave, to help give her the courage and ensure she wouldn’t be defined by the thing that almost led to her life being taken.

In her new foster home, Imelda was met with something she had never known before—love and patience. Her foster mom, Stephanie, showered her with affection, and soon Imelda started to become her true self. She made friends with the other dogs in the house and began to reveal her sweet nature.

She no longer feared being overlooked or abandoned. Imelda even started sleeping through the night without any issues and learned to go potty outside. It was clear that all she needed was a safe place to heal.
