Gazelles get to an incredible speed on land. This shows us their combination of agility and grace. This agility lets gazelles to escape from predators such as cheetahs and lions.

Gazelle Speed in Water (Limited Adaptation for Aquatic Locomotion)

While gazelles are adapted for swift movement on land, their abilities in water are limited. Unlike some other ungulates, such as deer, gazelles are not well-equipped for swimming. Their slender build and hooves are not made for water, and they usually avoid water bodies.
