Hummingbirds are, for the most part, not very social creatures. So with 30 of them sharing a little bird bath, there is bound to be some drama. You can actually see the underlying competitiveness that characterizes hummingbird behavior in the video. Straight away the birds start catty – competing and harassing each other. Perhaps they see the water as a resource that they must claim territory over.
