It Airedale Terrier is a big dog, measuring 22-24 inches in height and weighing between 40 and 65 pounds.
Male Dobermans typically weigh 75-100 pounds, and females weigh 60-90 pounds. Both stand at an average height of 24-28 inches at the withers.
The Airedale Terrier originated in Airedale, a region in Yorkshire.
Initially, they were bred to hunt otters.
They were bred by a German tax collector in the 19th century, who wanted a dog that was an excellent protector and a loyal companion.
They are confident, outgoing, and friendly.
They occasionally display independence and stubbornness, and therefore it requires early socialization.
The Doberman Pinscher is an intelligent breed that is exceptionally loyal.
They can be wary of strangers, seeing as they were bred to become natural protectors.
Both breeds are highly energetic that require ample exercise and need plenty of space to run around and stretch their legs.
