The Australian Retriever is a crossbreed that loves adventures as much as it loves cuddling.

Let's get to know these doggos!

A Crossbreed

The Australian Retriever is a hybrid breed, resulting from a crossbreeding between the Australian Shepherd and a Golden Retriever.

The Australian Retriever typically weighs 50 to 60 pounds, making it a medium-sized dog breed.

This breed is highly intelligent and trainable due to its parent breeds’ genes, making it well-suited for search and rescue, therapy work, and service dog duties.

The Australian Mist breed showcases a dual-layered, medium-length coat with water-resistant qualities.

Australian Retrievers are known for their unwavering loyalty towards their owners, making them excellent guard dogs and protective family pets.

Activity Levels

Australian Retrievers have a very high energy level and thrive when engaged in rigorous activities such as hiking, swimming, and playing fetch.

They need at least 30-60 minutes of daily exercise to stay healthy and happy.

At remember to also keep them mentally stimulated!

Brushing your furry companion’s coat at least once a week is highly recommended to prevent tangles and mats from forming.
