This extraordinary event offers us a glimpse into these majestic birds’  dietary habits and behavior, shedding light on their role in the  ecosystem.

The Great Black-backed Gull, scientifically known as Larus marinus, is the largest member of the gull family

These magnificent birds have a wingspan reaching up to an impressive six feet, making them true masters of the skies.

Furthermore, known for their striking appearance with jet-black wings  and snow-white bodies, they are often a commanding presence in coastal  areas.

Gulls are opportunistic feeders, and their diet can be quite diverse, adapting to food availability in their habitat.
