Wildlife documentaries and articles are a great way of escaping reality and broadening your horizons.

But nothing beats experiencing mother nature eye to eye.

We've compiled a list of the best ways of doing so.

They're one of the most intelligent and largest species of toothed oceanic dolphin in a family of whales.

The best place to see them is in the fjords of Norway (sometimes in pods of 200 or more!)

If you want to see them in close range the best time to travel is between October and February.
