With the goal of harnessing supernatural powers, an 8-year-old boy purposefully suffered a black widow bite.
After finding the spider, the boyplaced the spider on his hand, eagerly wishing for a bite – a wish that came true.
Soon after the bite, the boy experienced severe body aches and muscle spasms.
After enduring three hours of pain, he confessed to being bitten to his mother.
His mother rushed him to a local health center, but due to the severity of his condition, he was later rushed to a hospital.
Antivenom was promptly administered, and his condition stabilized within half an hour.
The reaction to a black widow spider bite can vary significantly among individuals due to several factors.

Mild symptoms include fatigue, fever, chills, headache, muscle and joint pain.
Severe symptoms include profuse sweating, tremors, labored breathing, a rapid or irregular heartbeat, nausea and vomiting.
In the most extreme cases it can lead to a severe disruption of nerve signals, potentially resulting in paralysis or even death
