The catch of a lifetime featuring a formidable bull shark underscores the growing concern over shark sightings along the East Coast.

Picture-perfect beaches along Long Island’s South Shore have always been a favorite spot for beachgoers.

However, recent developments have cast a shadow over these serene shores.

A surge in shark sightings has prompted authorities to take swift action, urging swimmers to clear the water.

Shockingly, there have been ten shark sightings this week alone.

The situation has led to beaches intermittently opening and closing, causing concern among locals and visitors alike.

A fisherman named TJ, a 21-year-old from Manhasset, found himself at the heart of this shark frenzy.

Just a week and a half ago, he embarked on a fishing trip to Nickerson Beach.

Little did he know, he would soon be in a battle with one of the infamous bull sharks that have been spotted perilously close to the shore.

For a grueling two and a half hours, TJ struggled to maintain his grip on the fishing rod as the powerful shark zigzagged along the beach.
