The video shows a sperm whale showcasing the remains of a giant squid in its mouth.
It’s a chilling testament to the violent battle that had taken place.
Most strikingly, a dismembered tentacle can be seen draped over the whale’s body.
It can reach lengths of up to 60 feet, with its distinctive block-shaped head accounting for a third of its body length.
This head houses the world’s largest brain, weighing approximately five times that of a human’s.
They can dive to astonishing depths of over 10,000 feet, hunting for giant squids in the abyss.
These cephalopods can grow up to 43 feet in length, with their tentacles accounting for much of that size.
Their tentacles have hundreds of powerful suckers lined with sharp, tooth-like structures, enabling them to grasp prey with formidable strength.
The giant squid’s ability to change color and produce bioluminescent displays aids in both camouflage and communication.
70% of the Earth’s surface is covered by water, yet – humankind has explored less than 20% of this.
As 80% of our ocean floor remains unexplored, it means that we know more about the surface of Mars.
