Left alone at home while their owner was at work, no one could have anticipated the chaos they would cause.
Despite their innocent and furry faces, these two might just be the neighborhood’s newest partners in crime.
When the local police responded to the 911 hang-up calls, they were met with an unusual sight.
Instead of a typical emergency, they found two hyperactive dogs eagerly waiting behind the door.
How did these dogs manage to call 911? As it turns out, the owner’s cell phone was set to “emergency call only.”
In theory, a dog could dial 911 by simply pressing the screen with its paw.
It seems these clever canines took matters into their own paws, perhaps signaling they were having a “ruff” day.
The owner, equally surprised, admitted he had no idea his dogs could make any calls, let alone to 911.
As one officer aptly put it, “Any time we can laugh and talk about dogs calling 911, if that’s the biggest news of our day, that’s a good day.”
While the reason behind these emergency calls remains a mystery, one thing is certain: dogs are full of surprises.
