Jimba was first found under a car looking like an ancient dog, covered in a layer of dirt and scabies. Her rescuer saw her and immediately decided that this dog deserved a better chance at life.

When they were finally able to get the scared dog to the vet, they were shocked to discover that this old-looking dog was only a 1-year-old pup! It is heartbreaking to see what the lack of care and love will do to an innocent animal.

About a month after her rescue, Jimba started looking like the pup she was. She gained some weight, her coat started growing back and getting color and some life even returned to the depleted pup!

Living with her foster mom, she received copious amounts of love, affection, and of course, snacks. It was here that her playful and loving personality came to light, and Jimba started to experience life the way she deserved to.

Jimba’s foster parents had to move back home, but luckily another home opened their doors to her. This home even had another doggy friend, Charlie, for her to play with!

Jimba and Charlie have been inseparable since day one. Sharing playful moments and affection between the two. However, Jimba’s affection is not limited to Charlie, she shows her love to her family by sitting on or close to them at any given opportunity.
