This heartwarming video tells the story of Jimba, a dog rescued in Bali, gaining back her health and even finding joy! From the heartbreaking moment she was first discovered under a car to the playful and happy pup she is today.
First Moments
Jimba was first found under a car looking like an ancient dog, covered in a layer of dirt and scabies. Her rescuer saw her and immediately decided that this dog deserved a better chance at life. When they were finally able to get the scared dog to the vet, they were shocked to discover that this old-looking dog was only a 1-year-old pup! It is heartbreaking to see what the lack of care and love will do to an innocent animal.
Recovery Journey
About a month after her rescue, Jimba started looking like the pup she was. She gained some weight, her coat started growing back and getting color and some life even returned to the depleted pup! Living with her foster mom, she received copious amounts of love, affection, and of course, snacks. It was here that her playful and loving personality came to light, and Jimba started to experience life the way she deserved to.
Jimba’s Life Today
Jimba’s foster parents had to move back home, but luckily another home opened their doors to her. This home even had another doggy friend, Charlie, for her to play with! Jimba and Charlie have been inseparable since day one. Sharing playful moments and affection between the two. However, Jimba’s affection is not limited to Charlie, she shows her love to her family by sitting on or close to them at any given opportunity.

Last Thoughts on Jimba’s Rescue
I think it is safe to say that Jimba’s story tells one of a successful rescue and just shows what a safe home and tons of love can do for a pup! This once-forgotten and sick dog is now a happy, loved, and playful cuddle monster – I can’t be happier for her! This is just another confirmation of what a huge role we can play in animals’ lives and that we must take on this privilege with loads of care.
