When Janet’s family wanted to honor her memory, they chose a cause close to her heart—rescuing horses in need. What started as a tribute soon became a mission, saving hundreds of horses from neglect and giving them a second chance. Janet’s love for animals now lives on through every life her family has helped restore.
A Legacy of Compassion
Janet had always been passionate about horses. She spent years caring for them, ensuring they were treated with kindness and dignity. When she passed away, her family knew the best way to honor her was to continue her work. They partnered with a local rescue, dedicating their efforts to saving horses from dire situations.
Saving One, Saving Hundreds
What began as a single rescue quickly grew into something much bigger. The family started taking in horses that had been abandoned, neglected, or headed for slaughter. Word spread, and soon, with the help of volunteers and donations, they had saved hundreds. Each horse that arrived at the rescue was given medical care, nourishment, and, most importantly, love.
