Claimed Yet Alone In The Streets
A couple found an abandoned dog outside of a Starbucks. They managed to get hold of this stray dog’s owner. The dog had a jersey tied around his neck. He was afraid and timid, wary of these rescuers. The owner, seemingly surprised that they had managed to contact him, claimed that he had moved and this new place did not allow dogs. He had given the dog to someone else, who then decided that they could not handle the dog and abandoned him.
Wary But Willing
The couple that found the dog were furious. How could someone treat him like this? How could they have no guilt? Although the dog was terrified, they were able to coax him with a Starbucks pup cup. They finally managed to free him from the ties of the jersey. The previous owner told them that he didn’t want the dog back. The couple were grateful for this because now they could give the pup a chance for a better life.
Putting a Plan in Place
The couple were on their way to New York so needed to find a foster for this beautiful boy. Shockingly, they managed to find one! A volunteer agreed to look after the dog for the 5 days that the couple were away. 5 days later they did indeed come back for him. He was taken to the vet to get spayed. He would then go home with his rescuers whilst awaiting adoption.
The Door to a Better Tomorrow
It didn’t take long for this sweet boy to be adopted. The family was overjoyed and full of love for their new family member. He had a big garden to run around in and even bigger love surrounding him. He quickly adapted, easily warming up to his new family. The more he settled, the easier it was for him to show his true colors. Playful, loving, and full of joy, the sweet boy had found his forever home and an increasingly better life.
