Adorable Golden Retriever Best Friends Hug With Excitement At Every Meeting

These two golden retrievers cannot hide their excitement when they see each other. Jumping with joy, they hug each other every time they meet. Head over heels for each other, they became best friends straight away. 

The First Meeting

Whilst looking for an apartment, this woman’s dog found a lifelong friend. These two golden retrievers were awkward around each other at first. Luna lay down on the floor as Joey tried to figure out what was happening. Luna would steal Joey’s toys, with Joey responding with a bark of distraction, allowing him to steal them back again. The two loved to play together, spending time together every day.

A Friendship Forms

Right from the start their owners could see a strong bond forming. Luna would constantly try and get Joey’s attention. She always succeeded, even if it took sitting on him, but no matter how chilled Joey would pretend to be, he could never resist. The 2 goldies were acting just like teenagers. Their owners were overjoyed to see their fur babies so happy and met up every day to spend time together. Any mention of Luna’s name resulted in Joey jumping up with excitement.

A Long Distance Relationship

At one stage the two were unable to see each other for a week as human life gets busy. The two owners organized for them to meet and their reaction was enough to melt your heart. Although it was just one week, for them it seemed like forever. The 2 bolted across the field to give each other a big hug. Standing on their hind legs they held each other with pure joy. 

A Never Ending Love

Luna and Joey formed a bond so strong that nothing could break them apart. They were so happy when they spent time together, acting like puppies again. Their heartwarming relationship highlights the emotions and feelings that dogs feel. They are more than just animals, they have emotional intelligence and form true and genuine relationships. Their adorable and strong connection warmed the hearts of their owners, along with anyone who sees their story.
