A Man Is Heartbroken To Find Freezing Puppies Abandoned Under A Couch

This man’s heart is shattered when he finds puppies and their mother abandoned and mistreated outside a house in Canada. Stopping his car, he notices them crawling out from under a couch. The man knows that he cannot leave them there in the freezing winter weather. 

Crawling Out From The Shadows

This young man noticed a puppy in front of a house in Canada as he drove past. Knowing in his heart that it shouldn’t be outside in this freezing weather, he went to check it out. As he approached more puppies came out from under a couch. The puppies came straight up to him, asking for help. Soon the mother dog came out from under the couch to join them.

The good man went to the house and asked the owners about the puppies. He wasn’t willing to cooperate. Following the law, he knew that he was able to take the puppies away due to the poor conditions. 

Getting Out Of The Cold

The man began to collect all of the puppies. The last one, an adorable little chocolate girl, hid away in fear. 30 minutes later they were all in the car and ready to go. The man continued to worry about that last puppy, he took her out and sat her on his lap during the ride. The man immediately felt a connection with her.

A foster came forward to look after the mum and the puppies, but the man knew he couldn’t let little Chocolate go. He took her home with him to foster until she was strong enough to find a forever home. 

Adjusting To A New Environment

When she arrived in her new home, little Chocolate stood still, scared stiff. She wasn’t used to humans or receiving love and affection. She got her first proper meal and gulped it down. Her first bath was scary; you could see the fear in her eyes. Soon she began to settle down, enjoying the towel rubs and cuddles that followed bathtime.

As she adapted more, her true colors came out. Her tail was constantly moving as she played around with the other 2 dogs in the house. Watching her transformation warmed the heart of the young man.

A New Life

The young man began to take her everywhere with him. He needed her to socialize in order to be prepared for finding her forever home. Two months later the puppy, now named Hazel, was ready to start looking for her forever family. It didn’t take long for Hazel to be adopted…by the young man’s sister! The man was overjoyed that Hazel would stay in the family, allowing him to continue watching her grow and progress.

Hazel was going to live the best life with this family. She was showered in love and undivided attention. Her life was going to be wonderful, thanks to the young man who wholeheartedly took the time to save and care for her.
