This panic-stricken dog, Mavyn, was rescued from an abusive and cruel household. A loving family found her at the shelter, they knew this would be a mission but their hearts told them that she needed them. Once she arrived at her new home, her new parents bought her a crate. She was so scared and traumatized that she stayed in the crate for 5 days. Frozen with fear she hardly ate, warily watching the action around her.
Cautiously Exploring The New Environment

5 days after bringing Mavyn home, she cautiously exited the crate, coming forward to eat, she kept her back legs firmly in the crate. Slowly she found the courage to walk all 4 paws out of the crate. These little steps caused great excitement for the family, within the journey they were more than just little steps. Afraid and insecure, it took her another 4 days to grow her confidence in coming out of the crate and growing her trust in the family.
Building A Bond

With a lot of patience and celebrating small milestones, the journey began to show success. Mavyn seemed to grow in her new environment, noticing that she was safe now. The biggest step came when the family began sitting outside, waiting to find out whether Mavyn would come to them or not. She did. She ran straight to her new mum, Maddie. Jumping up to her and showering her in love. This big step was a great sign of hope and emotional maturing.

After that big milestone, Mavyn became a new dog, a puppy again. She got a new favorite toy, her baby, and she carried him everywhere. Mavyn was a loving and excited dog. 6 months after adopting Mavyn the family noticed that she seemed better with an emotional support buddy. They adopted another dog, Luna. The two became best friends right away, playing together all the time with big smiles on their faces. Mavyn’s journey was such a heartwarming success, she was finally a smiley dog with a ton of confidence. Mavyn found the family that she was born to be with.
