That's not the largest. My family's was about 250 pounds, and sitting up he was about 48in tall. He also was the runt of his litter. The largest of his litter was between 280 to 300 pounds. Sadly he passed away several years ago now at the age of 11. He was 140 pounds at 6 months old. I don't know if he was a pure blood, but there was wolves known to be in the area where he was found as a puppy. So maybe they all were hybrids. The others were all adopted by 1 man who had a sheep farm. They were so smart, they could open gates, doors and pet proof locks.

I would like to get more information on this dog and it’s owner. I’ve been in the Breed for over 30 years, quite an active member of the BMDCA, and I am quite sure I would have heard of this dog in passing. Where did you get this information?
