He never set out to foster so many. It started with one. A pit bull named Princess. She was his world, his companion. When she passed, the house felt empty. Owning another dog felt too soon, but the silence was unbearable. That’s when fostering came into his life.

A Breed Worth Fighting For

Pit bulls are misunderstood. He sees it every day. People cross the street when they see them. They believe the stereotypes. But he knows the truth. Pitties are silly, affectionate, and full of love. Their tails wag with joy. They just need someone to see them for who they are. That’s why he fosters only bully breeds.

Preparing for a New Beginning

Each new foster deserves a fresh start. He makes the apartment ready before they arrive. The bed is set for cuddles. The space is calm and welcoming. Some arrive scared, others confused. He lets them take their time. They learn trust, one step at a time. Walks in the rain. Treats up the stairs. Small victories matter.

Letting Them Go

Fostering isn’t forever. That’s the hardest part. They become family. They bond. And then someone sees what he sees. The day comes when they leave. He watches them go, proud but heartbroken. It never gets easier. But there is always another waiting. Another life to save. Another dog needing a chance.

Speaking Up for Pitties

He does more than foster. He advocates. He speaks for the dogs who can’t. He fights for them to be seen, loved, and understood. Shelters are full of pitties waiting for a home. He wants to change that. He wants to get as many out as he can. Every foster is one less dog behind bars.

A Life Dedicated to Rescue

Forty pitties and counting. Each one different. Each one unforgettable. The work never ends. But he wouldn’t change a thing. With every goodbye comes a new hello. He welcomes number 41 with open arms. A fresh start. A new beginning. Another silly, lovable dog who just wants to be loved.
